Working with video game engines, found objects, and 3D scanning techniques, Freddie Sanders combines both fictional and real-world places, objects, and narratives to explore hybrid realities. His work embraces a sense of brokenness, fragility, and facade, adopting a transient, patchy style of art-making that orbits personal and societal concerns. Recently he has been reflecting on contemporary perceptions of Englishness, masculinity, apocalypse, and agency.
